THE AXIUM ADVENTURES GAME DIRECTIONS
v1.0
Copyright 1997
Soleau Software, Inc.
In the year 2143 a space ship was launched from the planet
Earth to explore the uncharted Axium Galaxy. What made this
collection of planets so interesting was the fact that each
one had a temple built centuries earlier by some unknown race
of beings. Each temple consisted of a single room in which
there was a unique puzzle. The mission to the Axium Galaxy
was to solve all the puzzles in order to find out more about
this strange enigma.
OBJECTIVE
The objective is for you to reach the red control panel
located in each puzzle. Before you can open the control panel,
you must first get the yellow key. Using various objects like
crates, meteor balls and other items, you must figure out a
solution to each of the puzzles.
GAME PLAY
To play click on the SELECT button at the bottom of the game
board. Select a puzzle by clicking on the number of the
puzzle you want to load. The puzzles that have been solved
already will have a green border around them.
When the puzzle has been loaded, you move your man by using the
arrow keys on the keyboard. The Demonstration puzzle will take
you through a sample puzzle and show you all the different objects
you might encounter. This will help you get accustomed to the
game play.
There is at least one solution to every puzzle and many have
several solutions. Are you able to solve them all?
GAME OBJECTS
WALLS:
These cannot be moved
TRANSPORT HOLES:
These holes appear in pairs. If you go into one, you will be
transported to the other one. Crates and meteors balls will
vanish from the game board if pushed into one of these holes.
GRILLS:
You can push meteor balls and crates over a grill that has not
been activated, however, your man can only step on them once.
The grills will activate and rise out of the floor once your
man has passed over them. Once activated, they cannot be moved
or passed through.
CONES & GREEN BUTTON
These green cones stick up out of the floor and cannot be
passed through. The only way to remove these cones is to
reach the green button which will make the cones descend
into the floor.
CRATES
These wooden crates can be moved with your man by pushing them
in any direction. Crates can also be used to block force fields.
METEOR BALLS
Meteor balls can be pushed in any direction. They will continue
to move in the direction that they are pushed until they hit
another object or the side of the game board. Meteor balls can
also be used to block force fields.
FORCE FIELD LASERS
These lasers send out a force field beam which prevents humans
from passing through them. They can be blocked by cones,
meteor balls and crates.
KEY
The yellow key unlocks and opens up the control panel box.
CONTROL PANEL BOX
The red control panel is your objective. You must first unlock
it by using the yellow key.
